The 2025 Mental Health America Conference will be held at the Capital Hilton located at 1001 16th St NW, Washington, DC 20036. Centrally located in the heart of the nation’s capital, this historic hotel is just two blocks from the White House, and within walking distance of The National Mall, Georgetown, and the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum. Mental Health America has secured a discounted hotel block for conference attendees. 


Group Rate: $334 plus applicable taxes and fees

Traveling to Washington, DC

Air Transportation

There are several major airports within driving and public transportation distance from the Capital Hilton: 

• Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA), Arlington, VA - 3.5 miles from the Capital Hilton.
• Dulles international Airport (IAD), Dulles, VA - 23 miles from the Capital Hilton. 

• Baltimore / Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI) - Baltimore, MD - 28 miles from the Capital Hilton. 


Ground and Public Transportation

The Capital Hilton is centrally located and easily accessible by the following:

• Metrorail Trains and Buses - connects the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia and can be used to easily access Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA)  and Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD). 

  • The Hilton can be accessed via the Blue Line at the Farragut West station and the Red Line via Farragut North station.
• Amtrak - connects major northeastern cities like New York City, Boston, Philadelphia and Baltimore to Washington, DC via Union Station.  

  • The Hilton can be accessed via Union Station on the Red Line to Farragut North. 

• MARC Train - connects the Baltimore- Washington area with Washington, DC and western Virginia and can be used to access Baltimore/ Washington Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI) via Union Station. 

  • The Hilton can be accessed from the MARC Train at Union Station on the Red Line via Farragut North. 

• Virginia Railway Express - connects outlying areas of Northern Virginia with Washington, DC. 


Parking

The Capital Hilton offers valet parking for $65 a day. The Capital Hilton does not offer self parking. However, there are a number of parking options available nearby.  Parking rates vary in the DC area. More information on parking can be found here.
